Dear Kent- Thank you for sharing your experience on the Web. My father who is
61 years old was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma in 1991. He has undergone six
surgeries to date on the cancer. Last June was the first time the cancer had
spread outside the pelvic region. Subsequently, in December he became anemic
and was found to have lost four pints of blood out of nowhere and also
informed of reoccurances in his liver and lung. In the past five weeks he has
lost an additional seven pints of blood (crit level ranging to 15 to 29).
Have you heard of anyone with similar symptons (he is awaiting the bone marrow
test from this last Friday.
