Dear Kent:

Your Website is a blessing and help to all who read it.

One of my dearest friends was diagnosed with LMS about 4 years ago (Uterine
cancer.) She had surgery followed by chemotherapy. She was told at the time
that she had a very rare type of cancer and that most likely it would recur.
It did recently and is now in the breast and lungs.

Her doctor here in North Carolina has told her that chemo and radiation will
not be of any help and that she probably has between 2 and 4 years of life
remaining. She is going for a second opinion at Duke next week. I want more
than anything to be able to give her HOPE and wonder if you can offer any
advice. Somehow I feel that she needs to be " plugged into" a different
medical area--perhaps Sloan-Kettering or Anderson in Texas. You mentioned a
doctor on your website. Would he be someone she could contact?

This gal is in her 40's--a mother of 3. She loves God with all of her heart
and has tremendous trust and faith in the Lord.

She and I will appreciate any help you can give.

May the Lord be with you. I now have someone else to add to my prayer list.

God Bless

Ruth
