Thank you most sincerely for getting back to me so promptly with your doctor's name. What a coincidence that he is from South Africa. Is he an oncologist or a surgeon?
My sister underwent surgery yesterday for the tumor in her leg and the metastasis in her inguinal region. The surgeon did not have to touch the knee as we had feared and said everything came away cleanly. We just hope he did a wide enough excision, as I believe here they take at least two centmeters beyond the malignancy in every direction. I guess this is just the beginning and chemo and radiation will be discussed next. I have sent the family Dr. Lewis's email address and they can take it from there. I also sent them your wonderfully inspiring web page. You are indeed a life line. The next thing I want to look into for my sister is nutritional information. Do you by any chance have an address , email or telephone number for the supplier of your nutrients or advice about anything I could read on the subject?
