Hi Kent,

Thank you so much for your quick reply, you know the ordeal we are going thru
and your dedication to people like us shows how much you care. This alone feels
like a big hug and it is very comforting. The doctors on the other hand are
not, my brother's tumor is 14 X 13 X 13 cm and it is located in the abdomen;
from what we know it has not spread yet and now they are saying they are not
even sure what it is anymore. It has not invaded yet the surrounding organs and
they continue to test and test, today he had a full body radioactive scanner for
the bones WHY? remains the question. He had a biopsy on July 13th and has not
yet heard the result, he was supposed to find out today and the doctor didn't
come and see him at all..... it is very discouraging and frustrating. I have
searched the Net endlessy and you were right you find good information but it
does drive you crazy at the end. My brother is in a good hospital here in
Quebec, Canada; apparently all the cases in the province ends up at that
hospital so the good doctor has seen quite a few (once a month) and has cured
one out of two (what he says) but unfortunately my brother might lose his left
legs (tumor got into the nerving system of the leg which is huge (swallen) -
looks like flibitis), his bladder and his rectum. Not a good prospect for the
future, my big brother has become my superhero, he has a good attitude as he
says no choice in the matter anyway, very strong and couragous. So we don't
know much about the tumor yet!!! As they say in French, who resembles
themselves assembles themselves. THank you Kent and Patricia for all you give
us and thank you for the sites address. Again I am so happy for you and your
family ! I'll keep you posted..... Guilly XX :-(
