Subject: a cry for help
Date: Wednesday, June 03, 1998 12:34 PM

We are three sisters from Norway. Our mother, who is 61, has just found out
that she has Leiomyosarcom. We don't know how long she has had it, but it
has
spread from the hip, to the back and to the lungs. We don't know yet if it
has spread
to other places in the body.
She can't walk or sit, because her back has collapsed.
The doctors are thinking about surgery, but they are not sure yet if they
can do that.
She has had radiologytherapy 10 times, and if they won't operate, she will
be sent
home. Then there is nothing more they do for her.
But we can't just accept that without searcing for help other places.
We would go around the world if it could help our mother. We can't let her
die!
Now we are crying for help. Is there anything that can be done for our mum?
If there is anyone that can tell us something, please.
She has just been in hospital for three weeks, and she can risk to be sent
home
now. We think it is terrible.
We don't know much about the disease, we learned something on the
web-sides,
but we don't know how long she will live.
Please, write if there is anything that can help us.
This is urgent!
