Just finished reading your letter. I too have Leiomyosarcoma. I noticed a
bump on the upper inside portion of my right leg last fall. After several
test and a biopsy it turned out to be the above. An operation on the 24 of
last Dec. removed the tumor and my Drs. advised me to have radiation of the
area - no chemo. required. The rad. lasted 7 weeks. They tell me that my
chances are about 80% that I will be ok. I've been told that this cancer is
usually found in the lung - so X-rays every 6 months are recommended . Thanks
